We are looking for a Manager, Applications Development and Operations who will join our team.As the Manager of Applications Development and Operations, you will be responsible for leading our development team in designing, implementing, and maintaining innovative software solutions. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, business process knowledge, leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to ensure the effective management of application development projects.


 

In this role you will :Project Management and Delivery: Lead and oversee the planning and execution of application development projects. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions within scope and budgetTeam Supervision and Development: Supervise and mentor the application development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.Drive performance and skill development within the development team.Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and report on the performance of application development processes and systems.Provide regular updates to management on the status of ongoing projects and initiatives.Technical Oversight: Provide technical oversight to ensure the effective design and implementation of software solutions. Collaborate with the team on coding standards, architecture, and best practices.Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of the overall applications development strategy. Align development initiatives with organizational goals and industry best practices.Quality Assurance and Testing: Oversee the implementation of quality assurance processes and testing methodologies. Ensure the delivery of software solutions that meet high standards of quality and reliability.Resource Management and Budgeting: Manage development resources, including staffing, training, and resource allocation.Contribute to budget planning for applications development projects.


 

What you'll need to be successful:Bachelors Degree, Software Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial EngineeringDesired : Project Management Professional7-10 years of experience preferred


 

Skills:• Proven experience in application development, with a focus on team leadership and project management.• Strong technical skills in software development and architecture.• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.•Proven understanding of supported business processes and uniqueness in operating models• Overseeing the operation, maintenance, and support of SAP in production environments.•Managing system monitoring, incident management, problem resolution, and service desk support to ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of IT services.• User Support and Training: Providing assistance and guidance to SAP users, including troubleshooting, answering queries, and conducting training sessions to improve user proficiency.• Development of KBs to push level -1 support to service desk• Cross training with the functional team members

The starting budgeted pay range for this role will generally fall between $135,900.00 - $159,900.00 per year. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
