About Us

Acceldata is the market leader in Enterprise Data Observability. Founded in 2018, Silicon Valley-based Acceldata has developed the world's first Enterprise Data Observability Platform to help build and operate great data products.

Enterprise Data Observability is at the intersection of today’s hottest and most crucial technologies such as AI, LLMs, Analytics, and DataOps. Acceldata provides mission-critical capabilities that deliver highly trusted and reliable data to power enterprise data products.

Delivered as a SaaS product, Acceldata's solutions have been embraced by global customers, such as HPE, HSBC, Visa, Freddie Mac, Manulife, Workday, Oracle, PubMatic, PhonePe (Walmart), Hersheys, Dun & Bradstreet, and many more. Acceldata is a Series-C funded company and its investors include Insight Partners, March Capital, Lightspeed, Sorenson Ventures, Industry Ventures, and Emergent Ventures.

Acceldata is seeking a Sales Development Manager to join our team at our headquarters in Campbell, CA. Reporting to our Chief Marketing Officer, you will lead and inspire a global team of enterprise sales development representatives to create new business opportunities through strategic account mapping and research, developing relationships with potential customers while partnering with Marketing and Sales teams.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in lead generation and coaching SDR teams in an enterprise sales-led growth motion. You’ll use your expertise to foster a supportive and inclusive team culture and deliver a qualified pipeline while driving innovation and teamwork across multiple geographies.

We'd love to meet you if you’re motivated and results-driven, enjoy empowering others, and thrive in collaborative environments. Join us and help shape the future of Acceldata!

We’re looking for someone who can:

  • Be a seasoned manager: retain and motivate high performers, onboard and grow new team members, and support and improve reps who need improvement.
  • Have a tendency to action and drive a sense of urgency within the team and with partners in the company.
  • Monitor full-cycle performance benchmarks & metrics - calls, emails, other outreach, meetings set, meetings held, and qualified opportunities. Proactively address performance gaps.
  • Be a detail-oriented hands-on player-coach: Listen to calls, help coach and guide with prescriptive playbooks, email scripts, sequences, call scripts, and social media outreach.
  • Be adept at managing a team in different time zones.
  • Craft structured experiments with outbound messages and outreach tactics. Institutionalize tactics that work and identify the next set of innovations.
  • Be willing to experiment with AI and coach the team on using AI to improve outreach results, try out new AI-based tools and approaches, and develop a human + AI strategy.
  • Be willing to jettison old or tired playbooks. Invent new strategies and set new standards via structured experimentation.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Partner Ecosystem, and Sales Operations teams to ensure alignment on messaging, lead qualification criteria, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Oversee and contribute to the identification and qualification of new business opportunities. Work closely with the marketing team to align campaigns with outbound prospecting efforts.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to help identify the assets and website content needed and with product marketing to get success stories and messaging.

What makes you the right fit for this position?

  • 5 -7 years of experience in a B2B tech sales role and at least 1 year in BDR leadership.
  • Proven track record of exceeding pipeline targets and driving revenue growth in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Curiosity to keep up with industry and market dynamics, products, and persona.
  • Fluent in English with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, and SalesLoft.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Empathy and Relationship-building skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to understand how and why things are working vs. not.
  • Track record of continuous learning - a learning mindset.
