The Manager of Revenue Operations will lead a team of Analysts supporting the Beauty & Style, Auto, and Tech sales verticals. This role is responsible for developing a high-performing team with deep, specialized expertise across these key industries. The Manager will collaborate closely with sales and sales support leadership to align on business needs, ensure operational excellence, and deliver strategic insights. Key responsibilities include overseeing the evaluation and approval of pricing exceptions, driving process improvements, and ensuring seamless execution to support client success, renewals, and incremental revenue growth—all while maximizing profitability and yield.

The Revenue Operations team collaborates with Sales, Account Strategy, and AdOps to ensure the success of advertising campaigns by delivering data-driven insights that inform proposal development and optimize campaign performance.

- Build and share category expertise (key accounts, KPIs, product mix, margins) in partnership with Sales & Account Strategy leads
- Improve existing reports and processes to meet evolving business needs
- Review and escalate pricing exception requests as appropriate
- Identify and recommend process improvements for operational efficiency
- Train and mentor team to provide exceptional support across Sales & support functions
- Cultivate a collaborative, high-performance team culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement
40% Revenue Operations Team Accountabilities, Actions & Expected Results
- Collaborate with Sales on RFP responses, recommending ad packages aligned to client KPIs
- Check inventory availability and suggest viable options to meet objectives
- Build media plans that align with client goals, pricing strategy, and inventory availability
- Review IOs for accuracy and compliance with terms and conditions
- Monitor live campaigns to ensure correct setup and delivery against third-party metrics
- Optimize campaigns throughout their lifecycle to meet KPIs and performance benchmarks (e.g., viewability)
- Provide ad-hoc performance analysis on metrics such as CTR, viewability, and placement performance
The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements: |
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and/or experience
Experience:
5+ years of professional experience in an analytics capacity within digital advertising, media, marketing, or ad tech
1+ years managing teams
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:
- Excel, Doubleclick, Google Ad Manager, Salesforce, Looker, Google Analytics
- Experience with Social Ads and Platforms (Meta, TikTok, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities
- High level of curiosity & initiative
- Possesses exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Cultivates and maintains strong, productive relationships with a range of internal stakeholders
- Takes a collaborative approach to their work; understands the limitations of their own perspective and works hard to

Pay Range
Salary: New York: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith’s total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
