Purpose of the position         

Lead efforts to manage economic and human resources to ensure the development of new projects and / or lines in DLA manufacturing plants, so that they have adequate capacity and capabilities, technology and infrastructure to support the growth of the business units by introducing new products and completing line transfer to Donaldson Leon plant.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that new DPA programs are implemented on time.
  • Optimize the times assigned in the manufacturing lines correctly, achieving the shortest possible downtime on the line, identifying possible risks in the quality of the product.
  • Detect in advance possible risks in the manufacture of the product, making mitigation plans to eliminate them.
  • Timely closure of activities within the APQP.

Technical knowledge and support

  • Project Management.
  • Analysis and interpretation of drawings.
  • Knowledge of FMEA and control plan.
  • Software Visio.
  • Office (Advanced Excel, PP, Project).
  • Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP).
  • Risk analysis and mitigation.
  • 8d ́s troubleshooting tools.
  • Software Minitab.
  • PDCA.
  • Management and control of CAPEX.
  • Run and Rate.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor´s degree in Industrial, mechanical, chemical, mechatronic or related engineering.
  • 5 years of professional-level manufacturing experience
  • 3 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
  • Advanced English
