- Our Shareholders, Al Muhaidib Group and Abunayyan Holding founded ACWA Holding in 2002 to spearhead public-private partnerships in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the utility sector by founding ACWA Power. In 2018, we rebranded Vision Invest to align our mandate with Vision 2023. Our journey has taken us beyond the borders of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, extending across the GCC and beyond.

Role Purpose and Summary
- Lead and execute procurement tasks across projects and technologies during the bidding and execution stages. Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure cost-effective, high-quality, and timely procurement of goods and services. Support procurement strategies that align with the organization’s strategic objectives and project requirements
Experience
- 6-8 years of relevant professional experience in procurement, supply chain management, or contract administration in infrastructure-related roles across various industries with a minimum of 2 years in managerial capacity; Experience in India and in private equity, financial services, or an infrastructure fund is preferred
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields; Master’s degree is a plus
- Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is highly desirable
Key Responsibilities: Role Specific Technical Responsibilities
- Procurement Management
- Develop and manage procurement strategies to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines
- Prepare, review, and manage Request for Proposals (RFPs), supplier contracts, and procurement documents, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulations
- Evaluate bids, proposals, and supplier qualifications, ensuring the selection of cost-effective and reliable suppliers
- Conduct vendor negotiations to secure favorable terms, conditions, and pricing for goods and services
- Oversee the procurement lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services to meet project schedules
- Vendor and Supplier Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and service providers to ensure seamless collaboration and service delivery
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines, implementing corrective actions as needed
- Maintain an updated database of prequalified vendors and suppliers, ensuring diversity and risk mitigation
- Transaction Support
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Technical Services, Construction Services, and NBD teams) to define procurement needs and technical specifications for projects
- Support the bidding process by providing procurement-related inputs to technical and commercial proposals
- Ensure alignment between procurement activities and project-specific financial models and assumptions
- Governance and Compliance
- Ensure procurement processes comply with internal governance policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Assist in developing and maintaining procurement guidelines, policies, and templates for consistent application across projects
- Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, implementing contingency measures as needed
- Project Support
- Collaborate with the Construction Services team and SPVs to provide procurement support during project execution phases
- Monitor and resolve procurement-related issues during construction, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and costs
- Provide ad hoc procurement expertise to project managers and directors as required
