Job Description:
At HTK you're part of a larger team at 1847Financial, Penn Mutual's most closely aligned distribution channel. The Manager, Platform and Sales Support will be responsible for the development and execution of the firm's platform strategy of the firm's multibillion dollar investment advisory platform as well as leading the sales support team and financial planning activities that support that.
You will be a key business leader in how the platform is designed and configured and structuring how the firm supports the growth of HTK/ 1847Financial's wealth management ecosystem. Working closely with internal partners, you will need to have established industry contacts (firms and vendors) and a growth mindset to help enhance the current platform but also implement features to ensure the platform is optimized and prepared for future needs.
You will work closely with HTK's Product Management, Compliance, Supervision, Legal and Business Development/ Field Leaders, Recruiting, and Marketing teams. You will also lead platform management, sales support, financial planning and reports to the AVP, Head of Investments & Advisory Services.

Responsibilities
- Lead overall platform strategy that requires configuration, development, and pricing expertise to deliver a modernized investment advisory platform to our financial professionals. Comprehensive knowledge of how advisory platforms work as a stand-alone technology system but also within the broader RIA/ broker-dealer framework, especially Operations. The HTK Advisory Series is a foundational piece of the firm’s overall holistic wealth management ecosystem.
- Optimize how the platform performs from a user experience, operationally and delivers an economically productive system for the firm and financial professionals alike.
- Work closely with our Operations and Supervision departments to create highly efficient workflows, processes and appropriate support mechanisms to deliver a high quality experience across all aspects o the platform.
- Key point of contact for our Envestnet relationship and supporting mechanisms to the platform. For example FIDx, custodial solutions and other supporting research/ planning and management sytems (Morningstar, planning).
- Partners with Product Management team to ensure access and maintenance of various products (on and off-platform) operate appropriately and seamlessly.
- Manage sales support team. Educates and organizes the team to deliver a premium service experience. Must be prepared to set high standards across the team and create processes to ensure we are consistent with each interaction.
- Help drive overall adoption of investment advisory business and create opportunities for the HTK Advisory Series. Create and leverage partner resources to assist advisors in adopting investment advisory in their businesses and supporting materials to ease the knowledge gap for Envestnet and other solutions.
- Organize and structure our fee-based financial planning process. Improve opportunities and activities to enhance the use of financial planning and our billing engine.
- Establish and support our key strategic partners through webinars, regional activities, and relationship management.
- Billing and administration of our fee-based financial planning process. Other data requirements related to the advisory platform and broader business and cash management.
- Awareness of industry trends and new solutions and maintains key contacts across broker-dealers, RIAs, and vendors.
- Subject matter expertise as it relates to products and solutions and drive internal policies, processes and support mechanisms.
- Point of escalation for conflict resolution and key decision-making.
- Extensive background in leading multiple projects simultaneously working with internal and external partners.
- Deep knowledge of regulatory and operational/ custodial requirements.
- Strong client experience mindset support financial professionals and their clients.
- Experience with software and systems to build and enhance existing technology stack.
- Periodic attendance and/or presentation at HTK’s and/or industry conferences or regional summits.
Skills and Abilities
- Strategic and growth mindset both at a firm and corporate level. Capacity to think in both short- and long-term frameworks.
- Keen organizational skills, highly detailed, and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – verbal, written, and Powerpoint. Ability to speak with executive management and financial professionals in a concise, professional manner.
- Knowledge of broker dealer/RIA operations, compliance, and asset management platforms.
- Proven ability to build relationships at all levels across the organization.
- Ability to work with others in a collaborative team environment.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline required
Experience
- 10 years of experience in financial services industry in a similar capacity or role required
Licenses
- FINRA Series 7 required
- FINRA Series 66 required
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP), AIF or other similar accredited retirement plan and/or fiduciary professional designation required
Base Salary Range - $105,000 - $115,000
