Functional (job responsibilities)
- Manage and execute the strategic establishment of PFS sustainability plans, programmes and action plans within the PFS divisions and support units to drive HLB’s sustainability performance and management of environmental and social impacts related to the retail business, products and stakeholders.
- Work closely with PFS Stakeholders and lead the implementation plans of PFS sustainability efforts, including achieving goals and measuring progress.
- Work closely with relevant PFS stakeholders and lead the implementation of sustainability management through performance tracking, monitoring, verification of data and reporting.
- Work closely with PFS Stakeholders to lead the monitoring, updating & presenting relevant sustainability & climate related considerations into business and operation decisions.
- Lead and participate in stakeholder engagement as PFS’s key liaison representative in the Sustainability Working Committee to work on shared priorities that is aligned to HLB’s sustainability strategies (such as with industry regulators, trade associations and civil society organisations).
- Engage internal and external stakeholders to complement and improve ESG risk ratings relevant to PFS products and services.
- Work closely with relevant PFS stakeholders and ensure timely submission of annual HLB Sustainability Reporting and other relevant ESG reporting and disclosure required by Bursa Malaysia and Bank Negara Malaysia applicable to PFS Division.
- Work closely with PFS Stakeholders to develop and roll out sustainability events such as capacity building programs and stakeholder engagement programs (i.e. HLB Sustainability Roundtables) as part of the broader awareness efforts which includes marketing and communications materials.
- Conduct research on sustainability and ESG topics to develop sustainability plans, programmes & action plans with PFS Stakeholders.
- Ad hoc tasks/projects as requested by PFS Compliance, Operational Risk & Sustainability.
Job Requirement:
- Minimum Degree or Masters in Business, Environmental, Sustainability, Mass Communication or related field.
- Preferably with sustainable management, sustainable finance, environment science or risk management background.
- Preferably with records in delivery of sustainability or climate related projects/initiatives.
- Preferably certification in Business Sustainability Program, Environment & Sustainability related courses.
