The Role: 

The Paid Social Manager is responsible for leading our paid social activity across a cluster of markets. You will be responsible for delivering best-in-class Paid Social strategies and execution, planning and delivering strategies across branding and performance media, and delivering on Beiersdorf’s business priorities. You will work with the Senior Manager and Director to define the ways of working for Paid Social, partnering with both the client to deliver their objectives, as well as the wider performance team to drive a holistic approach to performance media. You will also line manage Executives/Senior Executives, therefore you will be responsible for their learning and development, and leading the overall channel delivery processes and QA.

This client is a leader in digital precision marketing and pushing the boundaries of skincare and CPG digital marketing. We have designed an operating model that sees a central digital hub drive operational consistency, media efficiency and tactical innovation across the markets.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, a problem-solver, with a proven background in performance media to deliver best service for the client. We would prefer a candidate that has grown with in-platform experience, who can talk fluently to both client side strategic leads as well as technical specialists.

Specific areas of responsibilities involve:

  • Stakeholder management across regional team
  • Collaboration with local market teams
  • Support in defining and delivering the key priorities and workstreams for paid social
  • Define and deliver the test & learn plan
  • Identify and deliver growth opportunities
  • High quality, robust and actionable data and performance analysis & reporting
  • Additionally, you will be a part of the OMD EMEA Performance Community, where we want you to share your expertise and knowledge

 

Skills and experience requirements:

  • You will have experience activating paid social and therefore an understanding of best practice across planning, platform choice, campaign type, campaign structure, optimisation, QA, reporting, insight generation and finance
  • You will own the media plan for paid social – working with the Senior Manager to challenge the client/client team where required and managing the team to deliver strategic excellence, effective testing and operationally viable output
  • You will be able to work with other digital teams and feel comfortable discussing how paid social fits into the overall marketing mix.​
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of media agency ecosystem
  • You will have a depth of experience across Meta and TikTok, experience in SnapChat, Reddit and Twitter, as well as campaign management tools such as Sprinklr or Smartly, is highly beneficial
  • You will have excellent excel skills
  • You will have strong presentation skills, and feel comfortable building and delivering PowerPoint presentations to clients
  • You will need to have a understanding of analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Omniture
  • You will have a good understanding of KPI selection within paid social
  • You will have experience training and managing people
