1. Change Control Management

a. Driving consistency in the change controls as part of IT governance framework to manage in the area of IT operational risk assessment/ controls and ensure compliance to good ITIL practices and regulatory requirements

b. Build a strong IT compliance and operational risk functions & culture

c. Support the activities for RCSA (risk & control self-assessment)

d. Drive discipline and consistency around IT asset inventory and change control

2. Service Management Service

a. Maintain a high level of IT service quality for both internal & external customers and drive

    the IT units towards meeting the agreed business SLAs.

b. Establish and maintain the IT processes and controls to ensure enterprise information assets

    are adequately protected

c. Identify, develop, implement and maintain processes across the Sg Branch to reduce

    information and information technology risks, and respond timely to events and incidents

3. Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Management

a. Responsible for SG Branch's business continuity management (BCM) to identify and mitigate

    the organization’s risk of exposure to internal and external threats

b. Provide the organization with the ability to effectively respond to threats such as

    natural disasters or cyber adversarial actors and data breaches, and protect the business

    interest of the organization

c. BCM includes disaster recovery, business recovery, crisis management,

    incident management, emergency management and contingency planning.

d. Ensure the SG branch meets regulatory expectations as well as customers and internal stakeholders.

Managerial (team/group responsibilities)

▪ To provide leadership in delivery of IT services to support the implementation of business plans in terms of infrastructure stability and security, cost efficiency, and customer centricity.

▪ To be abreast of all current and new internal policies / procedures and regulatory requirements, and ensure all work deliverables comply with these requirements.

▪ To perform supervisory duties including management, coaching and giving performance evaluation and career development of all direct reports.

▪ To reward and recognize high achievers & to maintain robust bench strength through providing career progression & succession planning.

▪ To create a conducive and quality work life environment for all employees.

▪ To coordinate within business and technology units to ensure proper staff coverage of key functions in both BAU environment and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery situation.

Organizational (organizational responsibilities)

▪ Collaborate with various Business Units to ensure that the overall IT plans support growth ambitions and customer experience journeys.

▪ Development and implementation of sound IT Operations and IT strategy.

▪ Evaluate new Technologies for innovation and improvement of infrastructure

(efficiency, cost effectiveness or adding capabilities). Keep abreast of evolving trends through more feedback sessions with our vendors and suppliers.

▪ To ensure active management of the approved annual operating budget, support and drive digital and cost saving initiatives.

▪ Support the monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of IT Department's financial performance against budget, financial and operational goals.

    o Business Continuity and Operations Committee
