Job Description:

As Manager, International Tax, you will assist tax leaders within the Tax function for International Tax Planning and Compliance. 

  • Analyze details of foreign operating companies with respect to the US international tax calculations (including Subpart F, GILTI, foreign tax credit, basis tracking and E&P studies)

  • Review and work with outsource provider managing US international tax compliance process  

  • Research and evaluate tax changes and execute on strategies to mitigate tax risk and improve operational complexity

  • Analyze tax return items in order to determine whether corrective action should be taken

  • Manage tax audits in conjunction with advisers including data collection, settlement recommendation and other aspects of audit/litigation process

  • Build relationships and understand tax positions of various business divisions

This position is based in Palo Alto, CA and reports to the Senior Manager, International Tax.

Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics is required and 8+ years in a large corporate tax environment with international tax, which may be in industry, Big 4, or similar. Or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics is required and 6+ years in a large corporate tax environment with international tax, which may be in industry, Big 4, or similar.
•    Strong MS Excel and Alteryx experience required.
•    Willing to learn new technical skills independently or with the mentorship of more experienced team members when necessary
•    Aptitude and willingness for self-review
•    Self-motivated and with the ability to execute and monitor plans to carryout complex projects

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $94,000 - $150,000.

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
