Job Description:
Accountable for the Procurements activities for the IVOAPL. Specific responsibilities include:
- Vendor Management & Implementation of Key procurement strategies
- Savings / Net Benefit Analysis, Cost reduction Initiatives.
- Market Analysis & Benchmarking
- Co-ordination with internal stake holders & Vendors for smooth execution of Contracts and Orders
- Negotiates with local suppliers and coordinates shipments of products out of the territory together with local logistic staff and supplier.
- Planning, scheduling the requirement of availability of chemicals based on the monthly forecast requirement.
- Develop strategies: Plan and execute sourcing strategies to ensure the best prices
- Manage the process: Oversee the procurement process from start to finish, including supplier selection and negotiation
- Analyze trends: Analyze market trends for assigned materials and services, and communicate opportunities to management
- Prepare proposals: Prepare requests for proposals (RFPs) for assigned materials and services
- Negotiate contracts: Develop and negotiate service and supply agreements, including cost targets and performance criteria
- Evaluate suppliers: Evaluate supplier performance through auditing and sourcing reviews
- Collaborate interdepartmentally: Collaborate with other departments to identify sources and supplier competency requirements
- Ensure compliance: Ensure compliance with key departmental processes and procedures
- EHS responsibilities :
- To follow site EHS procedure and best practices
- Read and understand relevant procedure and perform the work safely
- Support site EHS in safety campaign, Safety observations to prevent the injuries
- Follow the site PSM procedure and implement the PSM culture
Required Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong SAP knowledge on Credit and Collections transaction codes.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Excel – pivot tables) Able to research and evaluate data to make informed decisions and solve problems
- Strong analytical skills.
- Sense of discretion and willingness to maintain strict confidentiality of pertinent and sensitive information
- Team player. Work closely with team members to create ways to bring in revenue and find success as a group
- Solve problems quickly and create solutions that bring in cash on a regular basis
Required Experience:
Total 12+ years of experience with min 5 years in senior position and team handling
