MKTG Sports + Entertainment is looking for a Manager, Hospitality & Events to join our team. This is an amazingly diverse role, and we want someone who will help assist the team on partnership activations, guest engagement programs, and maintaining excellent communication and servicing to our clients.

You will report to: Director, Hospitality & Events

You Will:

  • Apply strategic marketing goals to enhance a variety of events including corporate meetings, tradeshows, and brand activations.
  • Integrate into assigned account teams and work with clients as part of operational team across multiple events/properties
  • Develop high-value relationships with external vendors and partners, negotiating contracts and coordinating logistics to maximize the quality and influence of each event.
  • Manage the attendee experience, including building registration sites, tracking attendee participation through reporting, writing and publishing attendee communications, and implementing registration onsite.
  • Track meeting and event logistics using project plans, run of show, cue sheet, and budget templates to ensure timely planning.
  • Monitor industry event trends and technology tools to enhance client programs
  • Develop ideas for creative event branding, collateral, and other on-site materials that enhance the guest experience
  • Experience sourcing, negotiating with and managing external suppliers, agencies and venues and coordinating services, including space allocation, traditional and digital signage, attendee flows, security, food & beverage, transportation, and gifting.
  • Contribute to client conference calls and meetings with prepared documents/presentations following client brand guidelines
  • Identify opportunities for business growth; demonstrate ability to frame a project and help develop a concise scope of work
  • Conduct in-depth post-event analysis, summarizing feedback, performance metrics, and insights to improve future events.

You Have:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a similar role
  • 4+ years of experience in event management or marketing, with a focus on corporate meetings, brand activations, or conferences
  • Proficiency building registration sites through the CVENT platform
  • Budget management skills and ability to maximize impact while controlling costs.
  • Experience influencing teams and senior partners.
  • Experience managing trade shows, exhibits diagraming, development of prospectus', exhibitor portals and overall vendor management.
  • Experience identifying target audiences and creating campaigns that inform and engage.
  • Ability to travel and work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (expected to be up to 20% annually)
  • Comfortable with some physical labor related to the set-up and breakdown of events

The annual base salary range for this position is $68,000-$110,400. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
