Texas Capital is seeking an accomplished and innovative graphic designer to drive the creation of high impact materials that differentiate how our brand appears in the marketplace, with customers and with prospects. As the Manager of Graphic Design, you will oversee a team of graphic designers (internal and contractors) with responsibilities for all areas of graphic design and animation. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, the Manager of Graphic Design should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing, be able to find the right style and layout for every project and be able to inspire and lead a team in a rapidly changing environment.
Responsibilities:

Lead the development of creative ideas and concepts to suit the business objectives and serve as the design resource for all marketing communications.

Shape brand standards and create procedures to ensure all products are brand appropriate.

Ensure consistent application of Texas Capital's and Bask Bank’s brand guidelines, typography, photography and other elements to create integrated design assets for digital advertising, web, mobile devices & print ads.

Manage a team of inhouse and contracted graphic designers to ensure company brand standards are maintained.

Mine opportunities to improve processes and create greater alignment with key stakeholders across marketing and other cross-functional partners.

Design web pages, brochures, logos, signs, books, magazine covers, annual reports, advertisements, and other communication materials; Maintain consistent visual voice across all requested materials.

Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications, pre-determined timelines and budget restrictions.

Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software like Adobe's Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.

Review final productions for errors and ensure that final prints reflect client specifications.
Requirements:

8+ years’ experience in graphic design or related experience; Bachelor’s degree in art, graphic design or marketing preferred.

Possess an in-depth knowledge of brand development and multichannel marketing models.

Demonstrate an equal balance of creative and strategic thinking to help push the team and the firm’s expectations of how graphic design can push initiatives forward.

Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, social media, digital media and the web.

Expert knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, After Effects and other graphic design software.

Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred.

Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects including animated social media posts.

Exceptional change agent skills that challenge the organization to drive innovation.

Excellent communication, problem solving skills and ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Ability to present the Texas Capital client experience vision, training and methodology throughout the organization.

Ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
