Role Responsibilities:

• Support the template processes for Master Data in MDG and the necessary interfaces
• Support the functional design for the master data process design and integration
• Lead the portfolio of changes and continuous improvements in MDG and S4 related to Master Data Demonstrates thorough knowledge, and/or a proven record of success, in executing various functional and technical aspects of SAP MDG projects following industry best practices involving Data Modelling, Process Modelling, UI Modelling, Business Validation – Rules Modelling, Derivations, and Data Replication Framework (DRF) and Work flow creations and Maintenance.
• Good understanding of SAP MDG technical framework includes BADI, BAPI/RFC/FM, Workflows, BRF+, Enterprise Services, IDoc, Floorplan Manager, WebDynPro, Fiori, and MDG API framework.
• support the implementation of the crafted data solutions in all relevant markets, for functions and GBO
• support the usage of defined master data process templates, controls the usage by defined KPI's
• prepare the global data processes deployment plans in tight-knit collaboration with the global data council
• propose global/ regional roadmaps in tight-knit collaboration with the Global Data Council setting a common framework plan for all markets and functions
• Contributes to the resolution of cross-regional/ multi-functional issues and prepares decision papers to the GDC
• Apply the program management methodology including reports, quality gates and critical metrics
• Responsible for the supervising of the master data process documentations and the data policy
• Strongly collaborate with all involved functions and markets regarding the E2E data process alignment
• support the continuous improvements of data processes
• support and detail the fit gap analysis during projects, identifies gaps to the template and supports the projects as planned
• supports the Data Operations team
• acts as PMO to the GMDC, leading the decision papers, necessary presentations, documenting decisions and following up on open actions.
• manage/ support all audit and control initiatives for master data

Leadership Responsibilities

• The candidate will have strong leading contributions regarding Master Data Processes in projects and continuous improvement processes.
• The candidate will have the ability to influence big parts of the organization regarding the implementation of the future data processes and systems
• The candidate needs to act as a change manager, supplying to the implementation of a strong data driven business

'Cooperation (communication, collaboration and coordination)

• 'Cross-regional partnership (close partnership with subject-matter guides in the markets)
• Cooperation in the Business Processes Data Owners in order to ensure E2E process design
• Strong collaboration with the global and regional BPO's
• Strong collaboration with external providers (consultancy and maintenance)

Experience / skills required:

Required Skills

• IT background combined with minimum 7-10 years of practical experiences required (preferable university degree in informatics, engineering, mathematics, economics or comparable)
• Analytical thinking and logical understanding required.
• SAP MDG, SAP Material Master Data knowledge required (certification beneficial) SAP experience 5-7 years along with implementation of MDG, S4 (HANA)
• SAP Material master data processes and understanding of master data for material, BOM and Costing processes.
• BRF Plus and workflow configuration hands on experience.
• Good understanding of Business Processes and Key-and Risk performance indicators
• Good Communication skills
• Business process knowledge from various industries beneficial
