Position Summary:

As a Manager, Financial Business Data Analytics for CVS Health you will work and lead a team responsible for gathering and maintaining a database that supports the tracking and reporting of key expenses associated with several programs in cost centers supported by Member Communication Operations (MCO). This will include overseeing the production of purchase orders, working closely with key stakeholders, communication consultants, procurement, and business owners. This role requires the tracking of these purchase orders, through proper financial coding, to the approval process, production and finally through invoicing reconciliation.

In this role you will work closely with colleagues during the month end and year-end financial closes. These financial responsibilities include, reviewing of monthly accruals along with their support documentation prior to posting journal entries in SAP. You will also oversee the month end financial closing along with the preparing the monthly operational expenditure reports.

You will work closely with both the Sr. Consultants, Advisors, and other managers in developing budget/forecasting models, creating new strategies in support of certain MCO programs. Along with the analyzing and tracking of actual results, you will review reporting variances and trend analysis, ensuring that key index identifiers are called out that support the root causes to variances.

You will collaborate cross functionally with Procurement, Finance, Marketing and business owners in order to fully understanding various programs. This collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders is required to gather and analyze needs and requirements to design and implement quality solutions to the success of programs. You duties will involve working on the development of models that will provide risks and opportunities analysis to decision makers, and providing guidance to marketing and business owners based on program results.

To be a candidate for this role you will possess the following:

    Required Qualifications

    • Experience in preparing and reviewing financial journal entries associated with a production environment.
    • 3+ years of supervisory experience managing a team and developing talent.
    • Working experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • An understanding of PBM, Specialty programs.
    • Knowledge of SAP, Aprimo, Ariba, and Salesforce.

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management, or equivalent work experience.

    Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is:

    $60,300.00 - $145,860.00

    This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
