Manager, Corporate FP&A 

GLG is seeking a manager to join the Finance team to support the team’s various initiatives and will play a significant role in designing, maintaining, and improving the company balance sheet and cash forecasting. Additionally, this individual will be focused on being a business partner to the non-revenue generating Corporate Functions.   

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

  • Variance analysis is based on a strong understanding of the company’s financial statement, including balance sheet and cashflow statement, in close collaboration with Accounting and Treasury. 
  • Financial planning, reporting and analysis, which includes reporting on actual versus budget and P&L by business unit. 
  • Designing dashboards in a financial planning system to streamline user inputs and to automate reporting on business KPIs. 
  • Refreshing and enhancing revenue, expense, and monthly operational metric reporting 
  • Production of presentation materials for senior management and the board of directors. 
  • Contributing to and eventually running monthly meetings with department leaders to review in detail how their expenses are tracked to identify areas of saving and potential budget risk. 
  • Gathering insights and information for the regional FP&A teams to consolidate into the global reporting. 
  • Ad hoc 

  

An ideal candidate will have the following: 

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business, and advanced degree is preferred. 
  • 4-6 years of work experience, in investment banking, equity research or consulting, with previous experience building company 3 statement models a strict requirement. 
  • Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, are required. 
  • Previous experience using Anaplan, Hyperion Essbase Planning, Host Analytics, TM1, Adaptive Planning or other financial planning software is desired, must be comfortable working with large databases. 
  • Effective communication and presentation skills are required. 
  • Must have strong attention to detail with a devotion to accuracy and data integrity. 
  • The ability to think creatively and focus on opportunities for growth. 
  • Demonstrate the ability and initiative to handle increasing responsibility over time.

Compensation: GLG is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. Certain roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation.

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this role is:

$111,000$165,000 USD
