Primary Purpose
Drive the development of robust succession plans for officer populations and collaborate on the creation of dynamic executive leadership learning and development programs. Spearhead the implementation of innovative strategies for officer-level succession planning, career pathing, and talent calibration processes across ADUSA. Forge strong partnerships with the Organizational Effectiveness team, US officer population, Brand HR departments, Global Talent team, and various cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive visibility into ADUSA's talent landscape and deliver impactful development opportunities for ADUSA officer population.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, and Scarborough, ME.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Succession Planning and Leadership Development: Work closely with the Organizational Development team to ensure the creation of succession plans for critical officer roles within the brand.
  • Learning: Develop and deliver a comprehensive executive leadership learning and development curriculum covering leadership capabilities, sustainability, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), well-being, and cultural development.
  • Talent Management and Visibility: Design tools and provide HR leads with visibility into top talent in executive-officer level roles (VP+) in the US. Assist in the calibration process and sessions for executive-level talent.
  • Mentorship Programs: Manage an officer mentorship program or other practices/programsaimed at enhancing exposure and visibility for top talent at the officer level. Diversity and Inclusion: Work with HR leads to ensure the use of Balanced slates, promoting diversity ambitions within Ahold Delhaize. Integrate DEI principles into succession planning KPIs, talent development initiatives, and learning programs.
  • Educational Materials: Co-create educational materials for the officer population on key emerging business topics across ADUSA, such as Scope 3, Monetization, etc.
  • Executive Leadership Development Programming: Acquire, contract, or develop executive leadership development programming based on input from ADUSA brands to enhance skill acquisition for both current and future organizational needs.
  • Adaptability and Collaboration: Be adaptable and willing to take on additional job duties as needed to meet the evolving needs of the business and support company values.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • +5 years of progressive experience in talent management, learning and development, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of executive talent management principles, leadership development methodologies, and diversity, equity, and inclusion practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration; strong interpersonal and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with officer community
  • Ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders and drive results
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation


Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in relevant areas such as Talent management or Learning & Development
  • Experience in Grocery Retail and understanding of the industry
  • Proficiency using SAP SuccessFactors Talent Management and Reporting Suite
  • Proficiency using PowerBI to create reporting dashboards from multiple input sources
