What You'll Do

OCC is seeking an individual who will lead a team of engineers specializing in Active Directory, Entra, and Enterprise Certificate and SSH Key Management services. As a hands-on manager this role will oversee the successful implementation, operation, and maintenance of our on-prem and cloud-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate is an individual with architect level technical expertise in designing, implementing, and managing a Microsoft environment and exceptional leadership skills who is driven to identify opportunities for improvement and automation while meeting our compliance and regulatory requirements.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.

  • Lead and manage a team of talented engineers by providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions

  • Develop and implement strategies for secure and effective utilization of Active Directory, Entra, Venafi certificate and key management.

  • Oversee day to day activities for our patching and vulnerability management program.

  • Oversee the planning, deployment, and management of cloud-based infrastructure and IT systems, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with vendors to ensure their products and services align with OCC’s requirements

  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

  • Lead technology projects from initiation to completion ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope

  • Remove barriers and obstacles from end user technology to enable the business

  • Collaborate with team and SMEs to identify process pain points and opportunities to improve efficiency

  • Analyze impact from process changes to risks and controls within processes

  • Manage expectations and report project progress to stakeholders, team members, and management

  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the technology team

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Performance Management and development of the team members

  • Lead a team of 3-6 members.

  • [Required] Understanding of Enterprise patching and vulnerability management best practices.

Technical Skills:

  • [Required] Experience working with hybrid cloud environments cloud platforms

  • [Required] Experience in cloud infrastructure management, virtualization, networking, and security within Microsoft technology stack

  • [Required] Demonstrated understanding of Agile practices and project management methodologies

  • [Required] Experience deploying SAML and OIDC SSO in Microsoft Entra ID

  • [Required] Experience supporting AD Connect, AD Design, AD Trust, LDAPS

  • [Required] Demonstrated understanding of PKI infrastructure

  • [Required] Experience supporting PKI infrastructure using industry standard tools.

  • [Desired] Experience managing a patching and vulnerability management program.

Education and/or Experience:

  • [Required] Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

  • [Required] Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in managing Microsoft environments

  • [Required] Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing Active Directory & Azure

  • [Required] Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with industry standard certificate and SSH key management tools

Certificates or Licenses:

  • [Preferred] Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or higher strongly desired

  • [Preferred] Relevant Microsoft certifications such as MCSE.

Compensation

  • The salary range listed for any given position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at OCC, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and/or education.
  • In addition, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
  • We typically do not hire at the maximum of the range in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a substantial benefits package as noted on www.theocc.com/careers
  • All employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, company and individual performance and are not guaranteed.

Salary Range

$142,500.00 - $193,900.00

Incentive Range

8% to 15%

This position is eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award, for which the target range is listed above (see Incentive Range). The amount of such award, if any, will be based on various factors, including without limitation, both individual and company performance.
