What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:

  • Lead or co-lead moderately complex projects, effectively managing time and resources.
  • Apply skills and discipline knowledge to contribute to departmental work.
  • Make decisions to resolve moderately complex problems, develop new options, and operate independently in ambiguous situations.
  • Work independently, receive guidance on unusual or complex problems, and determine assignment objectives.
  • Review your own work, seek directional review from others, and mentor colleagues by reviewing their work.
  • Utilize judgment and experience to potentially become a resource for others.
  • Represent a major Pfizer client or business area in all IT activities, providing strategic or tactical direction.
  • Participate in the management and development of technology products and service standards impacting the client or business area.
  • Guide operational teams in project management, resource forecasting, and identifying areas for improvement in products, processes, or services.
  • Own accountability for change management, cascading communications, support services escalations, and effective financial management of project and support budgets.


Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS is required.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with leading the delivery of Information Technology projects, customer service, and vendor management.
  • Knowledge of the concepts and principles of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions and emerging technology.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and business finance activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluent English.
  • Good organizational/negotiation skills to navigate across organizations and groups to influence and facilitate agreement.
  • Ability to manage vision and purpose for solutions in the portfolio in conjunction with key stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree.
  • Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Experience specific to a clinical setting.
  • Excellent client relationship skills, preferably with a consulting background.
  • Strong leadership skills to facilitate agreements between different teams.
  • Experience in managing project and support budgets, ensuring effective financial management.
