Job Description

The Brand Data Analyst provides strategic and tactical analytics support and brand positioning recommendations to the Brand Center of Excellence throught the analysis and interpretation of internal and external data sets.

The person needs to combine the best available brand information with the best tools to drive brand positioning decisions and evaluation of results. The person will function as a proactive, consultative business partner who works with key brand stakeholders to inform business decisions through rigorous analyses and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Combine the best available brand information with the best tools to drive brand positioning decisions
  • Analyse, Interpret and communicate data informed brand insights from complex and high volume of data from multiple internal and external sources to aid business decision making
  • Design, develop and execute both regular and ad-hoc reports and tools as well as bespoke analysis, ensuring timely delivery and high standard,s including media listening reports for our brands and comparators brands, key measurements across digital and traditional channels, and core brand equity KPIs
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, understanding their needs and building technical analytic and reporting solutions that align brand positioning with their strategic objectives.
  • Drive brand impact for our internal and external customers by delivering data-driven solutions
  • Support the annual execution of brand asset valuators by an external agency
  •  Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in brand valuation, data analysis and insight generation to continuously improve processes and methodologies

Experience / Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing or Digital Marketing.
  • CRM (Salesforce analysis) and ROI
  • Proficiency in digital marketing and social networks
  • Advance data analytics skills including web and google analytics covering mining, cleansing, evaluation and visualisation tools
  • Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations
  • Strong SQL or Excel skills, with aptitude for learning other analytics tools
  • Experiment design (hypothesis simulation)
  • Attribution modelling to understand which channels and touchpoint are driving the marketing conversions, including content marketing, linkedIn, advertising campaigns and paid search, google adds and email campaigns
  • Project management and reporting
  • Market research skills
  • Customer service know how / stakeholder management
