Primary Purpose:
Oversee offer delivery and promotion point-of-sale solutions to ensure those solutions deliver on the overall business initiatives. Oversee a team of associates delivering all promotional offers for multiple brands to ensure marketing promotions are keyed/updated properly into the offer delivery system so that they deliver a great customer experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Advise internal business groups on offer types and potential offer formats to be sold to CPGs.
- Drive vendor enhancements and capabilities conversations to support all marketing brand offer needs and requirements
- Oversee external business partner efforts regarding offer creation, submission, and reporting, as well as partnerships with IT to facilitate external connectivity for offer delivery engines and POS integrations.
- Oversee a team of specialists and coordinators with scheduling and delivery of offer entry, peer review, and deployment.
- Initiate and coordinate large scale projects working with internal and external resources to improve offer delivery accuracy and efficiency
- Oversee data validation and user acceptance testing for any enhancements to the existing offer delivery system or modifications to external systems that integrate with offer delivery system.
- Act as a liaison to retail for the technical POS support for marketing programs and responsive to the Voice of Retail.
- Partner with customer facing application product owners, and solutions manager, to understand changes to banner offer structures, and impact to customer applications.
- Partner with key stakeholders to create, edit and certify marketing requirements documentation for IT to ensure developed solution within the offer delivery system meets business needs.
- Coordinating with end user, data warehousing, and analytics partners to ensure that Copient offer criteria and schematics meet expectations based on architecture require
- Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or IT Systems or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- Minimum 7 years experience in POS systems and database maintenance including:
- 5 + years of experience using a marketing offer delivery engine (copient)
- In-depth experience using industry standard ""Point of Sale"" software suites (e.g. NCR)
Preferred Qualifications:
- High level understanding of RDBMs
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite
- Basic understanding of Application I
