Our Corporate Relations (CR) team are reputation experts, shaping and protecting the future of our business and much-loved brands. With the ambition to become one of the most trusted and respected consumer goods companies in the world, our CR team act as the link to our external stakeholders, managing critical relationships with the outside world including the press and media, investors and government organisations, as well as NGOs and our many partners.

Operating across different markets, brands, and business areas including Corporate Communications, Policy and ESG, we collaborate with people all around the world. Role Responsibilities:

Strategic Responsibilities

·        Support the development and implementation of internal, digital and leadership communication strategies and initiatives to support USL’s business and growth ambitions in India, its portfolio of brands and its wider sustainability and public policy agenda.

·        Brand Diageo - develop a cohesive corporate narrative and messaging strategy to build USL’s reputation, and ensure its consistent application across various media to various internal stakeholders.

·        Develop and execute the communications strategy and implementation and measurement of all corporate communications activities, working with other functions and using various reputation management techniques

·        Execute best practice internal and leadership communications and internal events such as Townhalls

·        Manage all internal communications channels including Yammer (Viva Engage) and Mosaic.

·        Responsible for managing the social media channels and website of Diageo India. 

·        Raising communications capability across the business

·        Supporting the development of USL’s reputation within the organization and among potential external talent.

·        Support the employer brand EVP campaign.

·        Maintain communication ‘radar’ across stakeholder groups eg issues identification, change programmes  

2 Risk and Accountability associated with

·        Map the communication risk footprint and draw up mitigation plans.

·        Provide consultation to the leadership team on USL brand building, messaging and brand positioning through efficient communication initiatives

 3 Engagement

·        Develop, manage and track an integrated engagement strategy for USL

·        Implement local communication and engagement plan for Exec – to include message development, speeches, annual Team meeting etc

·        Provide guidance and support to Corporate Relations community on the development and delivery of outstanding employee engagement strategies and corporate PR programmes

·        Release the communications potential of the USL community to engage our stakeholders by raising standards of communication

·        Manage ‘virtual’ communications team across the region to maintain communication radar and identify communication needs – to include supporting implementation of programmes

· 

4 Internal Engagement

·        Lead the development and implementation of employee engagement activity within USL including the development of appropriate high-quality communications channels and content

·        Deliver high quality and engaging communications to support key areas of the USL performance promise

·        Build engagement and communications capabilities across USL

·        Draft internal and external leadership communication.

·        Generate insights from employee survey to drive Engagement
