What You Will Achieve
The IT Operations and Global Command Center organization delivers excellence in the pursuit of those breakthroughs through industry-leading infrastructure operations performance. We ensure optimal performance of the networks, cloud and on-premise services that power Pfizer's business processes. We strive to revolutionize service dependability by applying advanced analytics to drive predictive detection, identifying potential issues with our services and intervening before they disrupt our business. We place data at the heart of what we do and apply a relentless focus on continuous improvement to enable Pfizer's business processes and patient outcomes.
The Manager, Continuous Improvement, will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies to transform infrastructure service excellence.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement using advanced analytics, improvement methods and techniques. You will formulate strategies to improve services, enhance productivity and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices. You will partner with cross-functional teams, ensure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
T he ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of improvement methodologies, superb analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff .
How you will achieve it

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives that align with business objectives and strategic goals.
  • Leverage a range of techniques and tools such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Kaizen to analyze and identify areas of waste or inefficiency across infrastructure services.
  • Work closely with infrastructure leaders to prioritize enhancements through common prioritization and value measurement mechanisms, secure funding, and plan implementation activities.
  • Design and implement performance measures and KPIs to evaluate efficiency and drive continuous success.
  • Manage a Continuous Improvement Loop across digital stakeholders, optimizing the identification, prioritization and value realization of infrastructure service enhancements. The Continuous Improvement Loop consists of tools, processes and artefacts.
  • Collaborate with service owners, project teams, and digital stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient implementation of changes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best-practices across the operating ecosystem and infrastructure programs.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement within the organization through training, workshops, and change management initiatives.


Qualifications
Must-Have

  • Bachelor's degree in data science, business, or related field
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Proven work experience as a Continuous Improvement Manager or similar role
  • Demonstrated experience in Data Analysis
  • Proven ability to develop strong partnerships across functions.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and ability to influence and motivate matrixed teams
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills; comfortable managing competing priorities within a fast-paced environment


Nice-to-Have

  • MBA or project management certification (e.g., PMP)
  • Process improvement certification (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
  • ITIL certification (Foundation v3 or v4)
  • Demonstrated experience in infrastructure services, working in diverse and cross-functional teams.
