Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions is seeking a manager to lead one of our IT infrastructure teams located at our Palmdale, CA site. The successful candidate will build teams, oversee operations, deliver results, and create an inclusive culture in a geographically diverse environment.
The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at our Palmdale, CA campus. The individual will perform the following duties on a day-to-day basis in support of the program:

Direct supervision/management of a staff of 14+ technical professionals to include systems administrators and network administrators across multiple locations and shifts.

Employee task management, training, mentoring, and professional/career development activities.
-
Provide innovative solutions in a fast-paced production environment that create strategic value to our customers.

Interact with internal key leaders and customers on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations to provide guidance and oversight to employees to complete key deliverables and drive results.

Identify skills needed within the team and coordinate/provide required training to augment the team’s support capabilities.

Basic Qualifications:
-
Associate's degree and 11 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of experience, or Master's degree and 7 years of experience.

Active DOD Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance as a condition of continued employment.
-
Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs prior to starting as condition of employment.
-
Current Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar DoD 8570 IAM Level I or II security certification; maintaining the required certification will be a condition of continued employment.
-
Experience in a technical environment such as IT, Engineering, or technical program/project management.
-
Experience with IT network and infrastructure operations.
-
Experience with systems administration of Windows-based devices, network topology fundamentals, and basic data center operations.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in IS/IT/Management field of study.

DoD Top Secret clearan
-
Extensive experience in the IT/IS field.
-
Familiarity with enterprise data center architectures and technologies.
-
Experience with ServiceNow, ASM, JIRA, or other ticketing and automation tools.

Familiarity with virtualization and cloud computing technologies.
-
Familiarity with NISPOM, RMF, and JSIG standards.
-
Experience giving technical presentations to technical and non-technical attendees.
-
Experience providing surge support to other programs as needed.
-
Active vendor-based IT certifications.
Salary Range: $138,100.00 - $207,100.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
