Coaction employs a host of different technologies to support our insurance business operations. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technology Manager to lead our technology and security operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our technology infrastructure. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent operational leadership skills and a deep understanding of technology platforms and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on leadership of a small technology team and associated technology partners and operations, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful delivery of Coaction information technology.
- Hands-On-Technology management required
- Infrastructure Security Operations
- Vendor management of technology partnerships where infrastructure support functions are outsourced.
- Vendor management of information security partnerships where information security functions are outsourced.
- Development and continuous improvement of technology operations that align with the performance expectations of the processes, infrastructure, and business.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
- Oversee disaster recovery programming and testing efforts.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the company's data and technology systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs and opportunities.
- Manage technology resources, ensuring cost-effective optimized
- Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and best practices and make recommendations for improvements and innovations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Maintain a key role in audit management and mitigation.

Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or 10 years of related technology management experience.
- Demonstrated experience with information security operations and vulnerability mitigation.
- Proven experience managing Amazon Web Services. Azure Cloud services are a bonus.
- Experienced team leader – management of personnel and related administration.
- Strong knowledge of technology infrastructure and operational best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively cross-functionally as well as up and down the organization.
- Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including data security and audit compliance.
- Experience with cloud computing operations.
- Knowledge of security operations, best practices and technologies.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
