Manager, Business Intelligence
This role is eligible for our hybrid work model: 2 days in-office
Priceline is looking for a highly motivated and positive individual with deep experience in analytics and business intelligence. We’re a data-driven organization, which makes our Analytics / Business Intelligence teams the brains of our operation. On the cutting edge of customer and business analytics, they make sure all our decisions and innovations are based on the latest insights.
This role will be a subject matter expert on our B2B business metrics and trends and you will formulate project ideas, determine where opportunity exists and implement new strategies to maximize business growth. In addition, you will disseminate findings across the PPS organization with visibility from leadership and other Priceline teams in the fast-moving travel industry.
Key relationships are with Outsourcing Partner(s), Relationship Managers, Customer Care support teams (Product Experience, Innovation & Analysis, Operations, Learning & Development) and Finance. This is inclusive of partnering with the reporting team to maintain oversight of operational performance and be proactive with others to make adjustments as needed in response to evolving trends in the business.
This role's primary responsibilities include:
Data Management & Reporting:

Lead the development, maintenance, and delivery of BI reports, dashboards, and analytics for the Customer Care department.

Work with cross-functional teams to define reporting needs and ensure the delivery of timely, accurate, and relevant data to inform business decisions.

Automate and streamline data collection and reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Prepare and present timely, accurate reports to key stakeholders including executive leaders, internal departments, external partners, etc.
Stakeholder Collaboration:

Act as the primary BI point of contact for internal stakeholders, including Customer Care leadership, operations, learning and development and product teams.

Understand the unique reporting and data needs of each stakeholder group and deliver customized solutions.

Provide strategic guidance on how to leverage data to enhance customer service, increase operational efficiency, and optimize business performance.
Data Analysis & Insights:

Conduct in-depth analysis of customer care data, identifying trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.

Use advanced data analytics techniques to uncover key drivers behind customer satisfaction, agent productivity, and other KPIs.

Perform ad-hoc analysis when required.
Who you are:

5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.

Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is a plus.

Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels internally and externally.

Solid analytical skills which result in sound decisions, solutions and recommendations.

Strong proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and data visualization best practices.

Experience working with large datasets, data wrangling, and SQL for data extraction and analysis.

Demonstrated ability to operate successfully in a time-sensitive and fast-paced environment

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.
The salary range for this position is $120,000-$150,000.

Flexible work at Priceline
Priceline is following a hybrid working model, which includes two days onsite as determined by you and your manager (ideally selecting among Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). On the remaining days, you can choose to be remote or in the office.
