The Senior Regional Account Manager (Senior Manager) will carry a CASA Growth personal target and will oversee the CASA growth of their assigned region.

The senior manager is responsible for the customer interaction strategy and roadmap of their assigned portfolio, driving performance through the business to achieve a cohesive and optimal experience for their portfolio with the objective of nurturing and relationship deepening to grow CASA balances.

The senior manager works independently while still working closely with the members from Distribution (Branch network) and the CASA Product & Acquisition team as well as PFS business line teams to identify opportunities to further deepen interactions with customers.

The ideal candidate goal oriented and is passionate about cultivating strong relationship with clients and thrive in fast paced environment. This role will require strong business acumen and communication skills while engaging with a wide variety of audiences at technical, business, and executive levels. This role reports into the General Manager, Deposit & Digital.

Functional (job responsibilities)

  • Cultivate and maintain strong proactive relationships management with a designated portfolio of customers in HLB Personal Financial Services (PFS) segment of business and association clients by understanding their financial needs and objectives, hence building a strong foundation for CASA growth.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing expert advice on a range of banking products and services, including payment solutions, cash management and financing solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to structure and execute deposit, payment and other relevant banking solutions tailored to clients' requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong ability to self-source, develop new business by actively prospecting for new clients and referrals, and leveraging your existing network to generate New to Bank leads within the assigned region.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and regulatory requirements impacting consumer and business banking.

Managerial (team/group responsibilities)

  • Provide guidance, coaching and support for Branch Managers in your designated regions.
  • Works collaboratively with Regional Community General Manager (“RCGM”) and across departments to ensure the implementation of integrated strategies to deliver CASA growth.
  • Provides leadership for the Product Management team to come up with new marketing strategies (digital or offline) that are aligned with the business goals.
  • To put our customers first, provide superior advice, products & services and always act with the highest level of integrity.
  • To create an achievement-oriented working environment.

Education/Qualification

  • Degree holder in Finance, Business, Management or related field.
  • Strong sales leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.

Experience/Requirements

  • At least 10 years proven working experience in Retail or SME Banking
  • Must be a self-starter, motivated individual who works well under pressure.
  • Flexible and resilient, comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable to a high-change environment.
  • Ability to drive collaboration with functional and technical teams to achieve effective solutions.
  • Effective communication skills with all levels of management, including the ability to influence at the executive level.
