Commercial Financial Partnerships at Checkout.com
The GTM lead for APM Financial Partnerships plays a pivotal role within our Global Partnerships team at Checkout.com. As the digital economy expands globally, Alternative Payment Methods (APMs) are playing an increasingly critical role in meeting diverse consumer preferences and driving financial inclusion. Checkout.com is committed to providing merchants with a comprehensive suite of payment solutions, and strategic partnerships with leading APM providers are essential to achieving this goal..
This is a highly collaborative role demanding close interaction with the Head of Commercial Financial Partnerships, as well as stakeholders across Sales, Account Management, and Product. You will be instrumental in securing key deals, expanding existing client relationships, and driving product adoption across multiple geographies.
How you’ll make an impact
- Identify, develop, and secure new partnerships with leading APM providers. Expand existing partnerships through cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and define integration roadmaps with APM partners.
- Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and using CRM systems
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and partnership initiatives. This includes market analysis, segmentation, and targeted campaigns.
- Represent Checkout.com at industry events and within the financial ecosystem. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and influencers.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of partnerships. Utilize CRM tools and data analytics to inform strategic decision-making.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments within the payments space. Provide insights and recommendations to internal teams.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience (5+ years) in the payments industry, with a strong understanding of card schemes, payment processing, and acquiring.
- Ability to think critically, analyze market opportunities, and develop long-term partnership strategies aligned with Checkout.com's goals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
