The Manager of Analytics is responsible for strategic and tactical leadership as it pertains to the oversight of the Analytics and Data Warehouse programs within Azuria.  The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate proven expertise in full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) disciplines including Data Warehousing, Data Integration, Enterprise Architecture and Analytic content development.

The right candidate will possess a mix of pragmatism, creativity, strong leadership and communication skills and technical depth.  The successful candidate will create and follow best practice enterprise architectural standards, agile development methodologies, and adherence to source control and change management policies.

Typical responsibilities and skills of this position include:

  • Develop and sustain effective trusted relationships and partnerships with Azuria Business Peers and Senior Leadership
  • Manage, develop and deliver analytics, data warehouse and data modeling projects
  • Produce architectural standards which demonstrate a visionary mindset to ensure a scalable, efficient, and accurate solution
  • Provide strategic direction, mentorship and leadership to a team of highly technical employees
  • Analyze existing solutions and architecture to identify opportunities for improvement or enhancement
  • Champion enterprise analytics strategies, standards and tools
  • Facilitate and participate in Agile Scrum as well as Sprint Planning meetings

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding and technical expertise in relational data warehouse modeling
  • Advanced ETL and requirement gathering skills aligning technology with business Goals
  • Expert SQL Skills, stored procedures, agents and database tuning
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in an IT position with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Solid understanding of Agile Scrum project management methodologies
  • Data story telling capabilities with visualization tools such as PowerBI, OBIEE, Tableau, Qlik
