Your Next Career Opportunity – Manager, Accounts Receivable - Bilingual
The primary responsibility of this position is to direct and coordinate all functions related to Accounts Receivable (A/R), Billing, Cash Applications, Account Reconciliation, and Aging. The Position assists in improving and maintaining the overall quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the team's billing, cash application, collections, and overall aging reduction. Perform root cause analysis for A/R issues and develop and implement strategies, process improvements, and automation to increase overall performance and facilitate downstream processes.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the effort in performing root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions to improve timeliness and accuracy of billing and cash applications. Manage AR Aging to highlight the source and trends of the aging including out of sync leases, partial payments, unposted cash, overpayments, cash misapplications, credits, amendments, escalation issues.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership to effectively supervise multiple direct reports and day-to-day initiatives.
  • Work as the principal liaison with Shared Services, Site Administration, Accounting, Tax, Legal, International Team, other internal employees as well as external customers.
  • Build productive relationships and actively collaborate with Finance Managers and their teams located in the local markets. Conduct regularly scheduled conference calls between Shared Services AR Team and local markets to review unposted cash and AR Aging.
  • Prepare and conduct quarterly AR Aging reviews with local markets and International Team.
  • Act as the main Point of Contact for complex receivable issues.
  • Analyze delinquent accounts and prepare dashboard on highest risk accounts including recommendations for resolution.
  • Ensure that month-end close is performed within the timeframe established.
  • Coordinate all year-end audit requests for Shared Services - International.
  • Lead the integration of new business as it relates to Shared Services.
  • Ensure compliance with all SBA policies and procedures.
  • Manage multiple projects as directed by Sr. Manager, Accounts Receivable.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvements in efficiency, process, and accuracy.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Work with Talent Acquisition to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ a talented and diverse group of high performing team members.
  • Provide oversight and direction to team members in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
  • Coach, mentor and develop team members, including overseeing new team member onboarding and providing career development planning and growth opportunities.
  • Empower team members to take ownership of their job and goals. Delegate responsibilities as needed and provide routine constructive feedback on performance.
  • Create a culture that is consistent with the organization's focus on team member engagement and that aligns with the organization's mission, vision and values.
  • Lead team members using a performance management and development focused approach to assist in goal setting, two-way feedback, and performance development planning.
  • Lead team members to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.
  • Engage, manage and oversee employees’ performance to ensure a balance of optimum productivity.

What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in the following:
  • Accounts Receivable experience.
  • Experience with Cash Application and Customer Account reconciliation required.
  • Experience with international operations in a multi-company environment preferred. Latin America preferred.
  • Management experience or proven leadership leading a team of employees
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
