Meet the team:

Are you passionate about people and driven by the impact you can make? At Dexcom, our Finance and Accounting Team provides back-office finance processes support to Asia Pacific region covering manufacturing, commercial business, regional support and shared service center. We have dedicated finance partners equipped with strong financial skills and business acumen working together with the local stakeholders to achieve finance goals. As a Manager Accounting, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our accounting team, driving credible financial results, and partnering with leaders to build teams that embody our core values and vision.

Where you come in:

• Handle corporate finance and accounting process for PH and finance operations to assigned APAC entity/ies.
• Prepare financial reports within the month-end close deadlines by applying US GAAP and Local financial reporting standards, if applicable.
• Provide support to GBS Finance Director for finance and accounting responsibilities and provide financial recommendation to the business.
• Collaborate with Department Cost Owners to ensure alignment on the financial goals of the company.
• Liaise with Internal and External auditors to ensure strong control environment and build statutory financial statements.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Tax, BIR, PEZA and other government agencies to ensure strong compliance to statutory requirements.
• Own the functional expertise of financial accounting legacy systems.
• Manage a team supporting both site finance and finance operations for APAC.
• Report to the Sr Manager Accounting, and collaborate with various finance process managers to ensure data reliability.

What makes you successful:

• You have a strong understanding and application of US GAAP and Local FRS.
• You have a good knowledge and experience of Oracle Fusion, Quickbooks, Hyperion, Tableau, Blackline, etc.
• You bring strong analytical skills, demonstrate strong understanding of financial processes – general accounting, intercompany, fixed assets, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, cash accounting, reporting, etc.
• You have excellent communication, data story telling skills.
• You have high proficiency in data reporting tools such as Smartsheets, MS Excel with good knowledge on application of formulas, macros, pivot, etc.
• You have excellent organization skills and interface management skills.
• You demonstrate high integrity, trustworthy, accountability and strong and rational decision-making skills.

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 8-12 years of industry experience

• 2-5 years of previous management or lead experience
