As an Executive Director in our Macro Sales team, you will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise to build and maintain key investor relationships. This role offers a platform to influence market strategies and collaborate with industry leaders, making a significant impact on our clients and the firm.
As an Executive Director in the Macro Sales team, you will be at the forefront of client engagement, responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with key investor clients. You will work closely with our trading, research, and syndicate teams to deliver comprehensive solutions and insights. Your role is pivotal in driving sales strategies and enhancing our market presence.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key institutional investor clients.
  • Execute sales strategies and deliver market insights and trade ideas to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including trading, research, and structuring, to ensure comprehensive client coverage.
  • Drive the development of trade concepts and themes for investor clients.
  • Navigate a broad range of clients, including asset managers, insurance accounts, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, central banks, and hedge funds.
  • Provide market insights and generate innovative ideas to meet client needs.
  • Ensure effective communication and presentation of trade ideas and market strategies.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to enhance client service and satisfaction.
  • Train and groom junior team members to develop their skills and expertise


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • 10 years of experience in sales, with Series 7 & 63 required.
  • Established relationships with key investment-grade investor clients.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental product knowledge and market structure.
  • Critical thinker with the ability to drive trade concepts and themes.
  • Proficiency in Bloomberg, MarketAxess, Tradeweb, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and present ideas clearly.
  • Self-motivated with a drive to seek out new client opportunities.


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in the Asia-Pacific financial markets.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and another relevant language.
  • Proven track record of successful client engagement and sales execution.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market trends.
  • Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
