JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at $18 per hour

1st Shift: 6:00 am - 3:00 pm (Monday - Friday)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate various CNC-controlled machines, such as presses, lasers, and rolling mills in a fast-paced production setting, with an emphasis on safety and quality
  • Operate cranes
  • Operate forklifts
  • Utilize scanning equipment
  • Utilize computer, essential skills needed
  • Inspect work visually for defects according to Quality Systems
  • Serve as a positive role model consistent with CBB’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values
  • Collaborate with team members and Supervisor to help the team achieve targets
  • Provide cost-saving suggestions and ideas to improve productivity and eliminate waste

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in high production manufacturing environment
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical data and select correct raw material or semi-finished parts
  • Ability to work safely in a safe environment
  • Ability to produce a quality product
  • Ability to stay focused and diligent
  • Be dependable and punctual
  • Ability to read and understand job instructions
  • Ability to accurately use measuring devices
  • Clear speaking and oral skills
  • Effective Teamwork
  • Physical dexterity to operate machinery
  • Flexible and adaptable to help the team meet needs
  • Knowledge of basic math
  • Ability to frequently stand, sit, perform reaching pinching, gripping, pushing, pulling, twisting, and bending
  • Fill in when and where needed
  • Be willing to cross-train and be promotable
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
