We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the efficient and effective flow of goods, materials, and information within the supply chain. Your expertise will ensure that operations run smoothly, meeting deadlines and maintaining cost efficiency while adhering to quality standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of logistics software (e.g., TMS, WMS, or ERP systems).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with national and international shipping regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of inventory management practices.
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Proficiency in English (minimum upper-intermediate level).
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and proper stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to optimize supply chain processes.
- Prepare and oversee shipment documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork.
- Track shipments and resolve issues related to delays or discrepancies.
- Analyze and report key logistics metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement cost-effective logistics strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and safety standards.
- Negotiate contracts and rates with vendors and carriers.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities.
