Position Summary:
• The position ensures the best in class execution for Samsung Logistics operations (Fulfillment, Inventory Control, Returns Management and Business Coordination).
• Team member will provide guidance and support for aspects of the eCommerce day to day business operations
• Team member will drive eCom systems management and process improvements utilizing data to garner insights on operational opportunities.
• Problems and issues faced are vague, and require reasoning of broader set of issues and variables to identify root cause within job area.
Common Essentials/Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the execution of daily inventory control operations including monitoring KPIs, inventory adjustments, and systemic monitoring/resolution with all effected business units to ensure product is transacted accurately and on time.
• Responsible for providing in-depth analysis on all inventory control issues including root cause analysis.
• Reviewing operational processes to determine improvements that either improve inventory control accuracy or cost efficiency.
• Utilizing data, drive 3PL in the daily execution and management of eCom systems activity
• Support business departments on urgent shipments and new-launch models
• Ensure quick and precise system execution for the delivery of Samsung products
• Coordinate across multiple business units (Samsung.com operation, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, etc..) to solve complex problems and ensure processes align with systemic behavior.
• Coordinate across multiple business units to execute special projects and additional services as requested
• Must have track record and ability to maintain positive team dynamics
Background/Experience:
• High School Diploma with minimum of 2 years of experience working in an eCommerce environment
• 4 Year Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain preferred
• Must have ability to coordinate across multiple departments and verticals to execute on task requirements
• Highly Proficient in MS Excel. SAP Experience a plus.
• High-Tech supply chain and/or logistics experience
• Strong analytical skills

Summary:
The main function of a logistics specialist is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. A typical logistics specialist is responsible for reviewing and distributing production, work and shipment schedules and compiling reports on inventory levels, cost, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
� Examine documents, materials and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications.
� Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.
� Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.
� Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.
� Revise production schedule, when required, due to design changes, labor or material shortages or other interruptions.
� Distribute production schedules and work orders to departments.
Skills:
� Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
� Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor and materials.
� Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
� Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
� Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.
� Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Education/Experience:
� High school diploma or GED required.
� 5-7 years related experience required.
