Logistics Specialist, Inbound / Outbound 32-40 hours

We’re looking for an experienced Logistics Specialist who is to drive our inbound / outbound performance and also upgrade processes. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be office based and responsible for executing an assigned scope using our ERP system and other tools across multiple process flows such as, inbound, outbound or inventory mgmt. These processes must be delivered to the high satisfaction level of our customers.
In the role, you will work closely with our Logistics partners primarily collaborating with our 3PL Warehouse, Customs, Planning & Sales teams, and be a key member of our logistics network across our regions.
You will be joining a team of 10 people that manage our mainland Europe logistics operations.
Key responsibility examples:

Inbound: manage schedule & priorities for incoming ASNs & POs before receipt at the warehouse

Inbound: manage documentation integrity for incoming shipments and ensure Customs partner & warehouse has all information, and managing exceptions

Inbound: ensuring all inbound shipments are processed in Oracle on-time to our KPIs / priorities maximising our sales opportunity, and follow up with 3PL/Vendors on any exceptions

Customs: assist in requests to support and work closely with our VAT & Duty team

Inventory mgmt.: ensuring robust cycle count process at warehouse, and reconciliation between our Oracle ERP & 3PL WMS based on exception reports

Inventory: Investigate discrepancies across the logistic flow, find root cause and drive resolution

Outbound: Work with demand planning and sales team on flagging & prioritizing urgent deliveries

Outbound: Work with our 3PLs to ensure customer orders are processed accurately in a timely manner

Review and refine day-to-day internal logistics processes across functions, based on identified opportunities.

Support EMEA Logistics teammates with key continuous improvement projects.
Key requirements:
- MBO+ / HBO background logistics related
- Minimum of 5 years experience within logistics, inventory and supply chain management experience, with a strong operational and execution focus.
- Experienced at Managing and delivering processes with a 3PL
- Excellent speaking and writing skills in English
- Strong systems experience with any of Oracle ERP, WMS or TMS
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with excellent Excel skills, Tableau, Apex & RPA an advantage
- Able to cope with multiple high priorities and deadlines. Well organized including good planning skills
- Experience with import processes as a plus
