Your role

As a Logistics Specialist at Munich Electrification, you will be a key member of our Logistics Team, collaborating with customers and external production partners to support our series operations. Your role will focus on ensuring the efficient and reliable flow of goods to customers worldwide, directly contributing to the success of our operations. You will take full ownership of logistics activities for series customers, with a particular focus on transport planning and execution in collaboration with external service providers & production partners. Working closely with the Program Planning Team, you will play a critical role in meeting customer demands and ensuring on-time deliveries that align with strict automotive industry standards. Beyond managing the day-to-day logistics for series products, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our logistics operations. You will optimize existing processes and design innovative solutions to ensure a highly efficient and sustainable product flow. Moreover, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our global distribution network by contributing to exciting new initiatives and projects that reinforce our role as a leader in the electric mobility revolution.

Your future tasks at a glance

  • Coordinate and oversee series outbound deliveries to our customers, including the preparation of transport documents and management of customs procedures
  • Manage warehouse operations and inventory control, maintaining a high standard of organization and operational efficiency.
  • Support our internal prototype production, ensuring timely material supply and effective management of associated intralogistics processes.
  • Establish and maintain clear, consistent communication with production partners and customers.
  • Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for process improvements and drive excellence in logistics operations.
  • Maintain and continuously optimize the logistics process landscape, integrating best practices, innovative solutions, and sustainability principles to address evolving business needs and challenges.

What you bring with you

  • Educational background in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Professional experience in logistics, transport planning, or similar roles, preferably with a focus on organizing shipments in the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, with a focus on logistics processes; experience with SAP ByDesign is highly desirable.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English is required, and proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process optimization.
