Job Description

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of product movement within the supply chain, ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of products to their designated locations. This role demands a dynamic professional adept at balancing operational efficiency with innovative strategies to drive continuous improvement and spearhead digital transformation in logistics.

The ideal candidate will exhibit strong functional expertise in developing and executing effective solutions for various work assignments. Responsibilities may extend across site-level, regional, or global operations, requiring a strategic approach to optimize logistics performance.

Key logistics activities include:

  • Delivery Management: Manage and process inbound and outbound deliveries for trade, service, and internal customers to ensure seamless logistics operations.

  • Shipment Tracking: Ensure timely updates of Proof of Delivery (POD) for key orders to maintain accurate shipment tracking.

  • Customer Support: Handle customer inquiries through email, chat, or other non-voice channels, providing accurate and timely updates on shipment statuses, delays, or exceptions.

  • Order Expedition: Collaborate with material planners and logistics teams to expedite urgent orders when required.

  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve issues related to shipments, orders, and delivery discrepancies by applying a broad understanding of logistics principles and practices.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with warehouse, transportation, inventory teams and/or other internal stakeholders (COpC & Sales) to address and resolve critical issues and escalations.

  • Compliance Management: Ensures adherence to internal and external compliance requirements, maintaining a high standard of operational integrity.

  • Data-driven Insights: Utilize data analytics to identify opportunities for revenue maximization and operational efficiency.

  • Process Improvement: Design and implement logistics strategies and processes. Identify process deficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance service delivery while optimizing cost & maintaining quality.

  • Automation & Innovation: Support the adoption of automation tools and new workflows to improve work efficiency and streamline operations.

  • Project Participation/Leadership: Lead or participate in logistics projects, contributing ideas and making recommendations in coordination with other functions and third-party partners.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for continuous process enhancements, leveraging digital innovations to improve overall logistics performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.

  • Typically 4+ years of relevant experience.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP ECC is a plus.

  • Lean Six Sigma certification is optional but advantageous.

  • In-depth knowledge of the field with the ability to work independently.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.
