Job Summary
This position is responsible for managing the systemic approach of defining, documenting, assessing, and improving the global logistics business processes and systems within the logistics organization to enhance the customer experienceResponsibilities/Description:
• Manages the systemic approach of defining, documenting, assessing, and improving the global logistics business processes and systems within the logistics organization to enhance the customer experience
• Promotes up to date advances in ERP systems along with our current template functionality to provide dynamic solutions to the logistics organization.
• Drives the growth and development of our logistics superuser/key network globally.
• Within this network, drives a harmonized process approach to logistics order management.
• Responsible for cataloging all current and upcoming process initiatives and ensuring that this group has adequate capacity to support all these activities while communicating upcoming/planned changes to the logistics community.
• Works directly with the regional logistics directors on the strategy and is responsible for the implementation of the process improvements and system enhancements
• Interfaces closely with the IT organization, Global Procurement, Customer Service and Planning as to ensure alignment cross functionally.
• Leads global supply chain project management opportunities in the areas of Transportation / Warehousing / variable distribution spend / transparency / transportation standardization and broader supply chain integration with SBU’s
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field
• 6-7 years' experience in Logistics related work
• Experience in direct people management
• Project management experience
• Proficient EDI knowledge
• Excellent communication and planning skills
• Fluent business English communication skills
• Fluent local language communication skills
• Proficient ERP skills across full supply functional horizon.
• Ability to manage diverse stakeholders in a multi-functional environment
Training / Certifications:
• SAP advanced trainings on functional areas of expertise
• ERP systems advanced training
