Job Duties and Responsibilities
Echostar is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to become part of our in-house legal department. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will be tasked with assisting the Litigation Team with general litigation duties, including factual investigations, document collection, drafting legal correspondence, and providing administrative support internally and to outside counsel. You primarily will work on employment and labor disputes arising at affiliates of EchoStar Corporation: DISH, Sling TV, Boost Mobile and Hughes Network Systems.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general litigation support to attorneys and senior paralegals, including factual investigation and monitoring ongoing case activity and pending deadlines in litigation matters
• Collect, organize and maintain litigation records, both paper and electronic
• Research and write up factual summaries and timelines
• Draft routine legal correspondence for review and use by attorneys
• Work with members of the business, in-house counsel, and outside counsel to coordinate scheduling for witness interviews, meetings and depositions
• Assist in-house counsel in retrieving relevant cases, statutes and regulation
• Timely report to work at DISH's Meridian facility on a full-time schedule

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

• Certificate of completion from an ABA-approved Paralegal Education Program, an associate degree in paralegal studies, or a bachelor's degree
• Prior litigation experience required

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be able to effectively multi-task, manage time-sensitive projects, and have exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail, superior written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills
• Resourceful research and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and some working knowledge of Google Suite applications
• Experience in discovery and document production is desirable

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $32.69/Hour - $44.23/Hour

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
