About the teamThe Lifecycle Marketing Operations Team is dedicated to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of Zillow's owned marketing channels. Our mission is to accelerate execution, ensure the health of our channels, and increase their overall impact to drive success for our organization.
The team is the primary expert on email, SMS, push notification and in-app messaging channels. Partner closely with our marketing strategy, data science and technology teams to configure and launch new channels and campaigns that drive business objectives and align with channel and audience health benchmarks. Use expertise in MarTech tools and audience data to define requirements and deliver final outputs. Enhance channels by leading initiatives to develop new processes and technical capabilities, unlock new features or share insights to inform testing and learning strategies, improve messaging capabilities, streamline data and maintain operational excellence in systems.

About the role
The ideal candidate shines in a fast-paced environment, and has experience with campaign execution and marketing operations even amidst ambiguity. This role leans heavily into hands-on-keyboard work, but also requires program management and a collaborative mindset to work effectively across teams. You Will Get To:

Partner with marketing strategy teams to recommend campaign configuration based on your knowledge of platform capabilities, audience data and marketing requirements.

Build campaigns in our Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Email Service Provider (ESP) platforms; including creating or updating HTML email templates, audience segments, journey configuration, and being responsible for QA and final send.

Build and supervise channel and audience health reports in partnership with our data and marketing technology teams, regularly reviewing how our campaigns align with benchmarks and sharing insights with our marketing strategy partners.

Gain familiarity with internal data and sources. Use this understanding to define and standardize audiences, and guide experimentation in our CDP / ESP.

Constantly search for and drive opportunities to improve operational efficiency, with a specific eye toward speed-to-market, data accuracy and channel health.
This role has been categorized as a teleworker position. Teleworkers do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any part of Mexico, but preferably in Mexico City, as we would encourage attendance for occasional in-office events.
In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.

Qualifications
-
2+ years of experience working in channel marketing or marketing operations, with hands-on experience creating and owning campaign builds and sends. Email experience, including HTML/CSS experience is required.

Ability to think critically, be self-motivated, and navigate ambiguity.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and experience interacting with both business and engineering individuals.

Competent in Excel, JIRA, Litmus and Tableau
Preferred Qualifications

SMS / Push Notification / Mobile experience a bonus.

Experience using Confluence, G Suite, and Simon Data preferred.

Professional application of agile methodologies (specifically Scrum) is a plus.
