Asset & Wealth Management Overview: J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) is a global leader in investment and wealth management. The division offers investment management across all major asset classes including equities, fixed income, alternatives, multi-asset, and money market funds. For individual investors, the business also provides annuity and life insurance, brokerage and banking services including trusts and estates, loans, mortgages, and deposits.
Role Summary
The Life Insurance & Annuity Associate will support the Product Owners for implementation and product roll-out of Life Insurance and Annuity business across Lines of Business. Through partnership with the business, advisors, product and senior leaders, the Life Insurance & Annuity Product Associate will partner across multiple initiatives/functions in effort to align priorities ensuring successful execution of the Insurance & Annuities business.
Job Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of the Life Insurance and Annuity Business across the Lines of Business
  • Work with Life Insurance and Annuity team to understand business needs, define the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets
  • Support implementation of operating model and process/system evolution across both products - documenting processes, and re-defining the user and client experience
  • Facilitate change-management and syndication discussions with key stakeholders from each product
  • Develop, establish, and maintain best practices across functional groups and product groups
  • Partner with Legal, Risk, Compliance & Supervision and governance to ensure policy and procedures are consistently up-to-date


Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • 3 years of experience or equivalent expertise in financial services, insurance related experience and/or wealth management
  • Excellent communication, presentation and data analytical skills
  • Ability to work with large data sets to pull trends and insights, and provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrates initiative, energy and confidence completing projects with limited supervision
  • Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to make interpersonal connections, foster relationships, and effectively partner with all levels of an organization, from senior management to vendor participants
