The Opioid Epidemic is a public health crisis with a highly effective but underutilized clinical intervention - millions of Americans are physically dependent on Opioids but only 10% of those likely to have OUD actually access treatment. Bicycle Health addresses this gap by maximizing accessibility, affordability, and overall quality of care by enabling highly qualified clinicians to reach patients broadly and efficiently through our online platform.
The Licensing Specialist is responsible for handling all aspects of licensing for our clinicians according to state compliance and insurance standards. This role is a critical part of Bicycle Health’s operations and essential to our ability to onboard providers, as well as our ability to expand our services to new geographical areas.
Location: Remote
Schedule: Full time (40 hrs)
Target Pay Range: $26.00/hour - $30.00/hour - Compensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

You can expect to:
- Coordinate between providers, medical boards, and government agencies to effectively streamline application submissions to approval.
- Collaborate with our credentialing team to ensure all provider licensing requirements are met in a timely manner.
- Track and complete license renewal, DEA, CSR and CME requirements in the system.
- Resolve licensing or credentialing issues by communicating effectively with providers.
- Tactically manage coordination with medical boards to ensure the licensing process continues to proceed smoothly.
- Manage provider documentation and organize materials to effectively cross license providers in multiple states.
- Keep our licenses and statuses organized; ensure everyone across internal Operations and Clinical teams will know where licenses stand at any given time.
- Properly document any changes, additions, or discrepancies within the database.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Qualities we're looking for:
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in licensing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
- Receptive to feedback and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of State and Federal Licensing regulations across multiple states.
- Comfortable working in Google Suite systems.
- Knowledge of Collaborative Practice Agreements.
- Knowledge of Controlled Substance and DEA regulations as it relates to clinical licensure.
- Knowledge of IMLCC and NLC licensing.
- Consistent access to a private work environment with high speed internet and professionally appropriate surroundings for frequent video conferencing and a workstation setup conducive to remote work needs.
This is a full-time (40hrs per week) remote position.
