Your Opportunities at Covestro

Together with our in-house lawyers, you will advise the Human Resources department and Covestro executives on employment law issues both in day-to-day business and in projects

You will attend Covestro internal and court hearings
-
You will conduct legal research and evaluate current labor law case law
-
You analyze changes in the law and prepare proposals for implementing the changes at Covestro
-
You accompany individual measures such as warnings or terminations
-
You will review and draft contracts and sample contracts, works and spokesperson committee agreements as well as presentations with a focus on employment law

You will support the legal department with other legal issues (e.g. general civil law, commercial and corporate law)
Your Profile at a Glance

You have completed your first state examination in law with an above-average grade, preferably at least “fully satisfactory” and with a focus on employment law

You have a basic understanding of business administration and can recognize economic relationships

You have a sound knowledge of MS Office (Word and PowerPoint) as well as experience with internet research and legal databases

Good verbal and written communication skills are a matter of course for you

You are characterized by a high level of teamwork as well as independence and autonomy in the performance of your tasks

You have very good decision-making and problem-solving skills

You are willing to reflect on the issues presented to you and contribute suggestions for improvement

You have a perfect command of written and spoken German and English
