We are looking for an experienced Legal Manager to lead our legal function, ensuring compliance with capital market regulations, mitigating legal risks, and providing strategic legal counsel to management. As a Legal Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Identify legal risks, develop mitigation plans, and effectively communicate them to management.
- Ensure compliance with capital market regulations, securities laws, and corporate governance standards.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Provide legal counsel on investment products, corporate actions, and evolving regulations.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies such as OJK, IDX, KSEI, and other relevant authorities.
- Manage litigation, dispute resolution, and legal risk assessments.
- Support due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate activities.
- Develop internal policies to ensure regulatory adherence and risk mitigation.
- Monitor legal and regulatory changes, advising the company on necessary adjustments and their potential impact.
- Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring all legal matters are properly addressed.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LL.B/LL.M).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in the securities, investment, or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesia’s capital market regulations, corporate law, and financial compliance.
- Experience working with regulatory bodies such as OJK, IDX, KSEI is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with management and regulatory authorities.
- Holding an advocate license (PERADI) and WPPE certification is a plus.
