We are looking for a Data Privacy and Compliance Strategist in charge of following data security regulations in the Salesforce ecosystem. You will report directly to the Chief Growth Officer in order to help define the opportunities on the market participate in building up the strategy plans.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Regulatory Expertise: Monitor and interpret data security regulations across various countries and regions. Assess the impact of emerging regulations on our products, services and market. Provide guidance to internal teams on compliance requirements
• Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the Salesforce data security ecosystem. Analyze competitor offerings and positioning in the market
• Technical Collaboration: Work closely with product development teams to ensure our solutions meet or exceed regulatory standards and leverage new opportunities brought by new regulations. Assist in the design and implementation of security features that address specific regulatory needs.
• Strategic Planning: Develop strategies to enter new markets while ensuring compliance with local regulations. Advise leadership on regulatory risks and mitigation strategies.
• Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present reports on regulatory changes and market dynamics to stakeholders. Liaise with legal counsel and external regulatory bodies as needed.
• Data Protection Officer: Be responsible for Odaseva privacy compliance

You will bring:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Law, or a related field
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in data security, compliance, or related roles. Experience in the SaaS industry is highly desirable
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of data security principles and technologies. Proficient in cybersecurity frameworks and best practices
• Regulatory Knowledge: Expertise in global data security and privacy regulations such as NIS2, DORA, GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and others. Experience with compliance audits and certification processes is a plus
• Analytical Skills: Proven ability to conduct market research and analyze complex data sets. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to explain technical and regulatory information clearly to non-technical audiences
• Personal Attributes: Passion for data security and compliance. Ability to prioritize and perform effectively in a dynamic work environment.
