Job Description:

Job Description: Broadcom is seeking an experienced and energetic Legal Analyst/Specialist with extensive Reporting & Metrics, Change Management and Legal Operations experience.  

Responsibilities:

  • You must be able to design/develop ClicData dashboards utilizing Smartsheet, Excel, Google sheets, etc.

  • You will work closely with the Head of Global Spend Management to redefine and rollout department-wide Legal processes and policies to successfully improve Departmental Spend and Vendor Engagement/Relationship Management.

  • Partner with Head of Global Spend Management to analyze existing legal workflows, identify areas for optimization and implement new procedures to allow for department-wide reporting and metrics

  • Gather and interpret department-wide data to make informed strategic decisions throughout the year and during the AOP process

  • Promote the use of existing & emerging technologies through Change Management & communications that encourages improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.

  • You must have in-depth knowledge of Legal Operations industry best practices

  • Provide technical support and expertise on special projects (i.e. Develop Law Firm Scorecards for top spend vendors, create/design New Matter Intake Form, develop Variance Dashboard, etc.)

  • Provide support and expertise on implementing department-wide legal technology systems to improve efficiency and data analysis

  • You must be able to act independently, and be capable of adapting quickly to fast-changing requirements and directions.

  • Expertise working in Smartsheet, ClicData, and Advance Excel

  • Ability to work on significant and unique issues where analysis of data requires an evaluation of intangibles.  

  • Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.  

  • Demonstrate ability to find creative solutions to challenges and new and simpler ways to get things done.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including active listening, interpersonal conversation, patience and empathy.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload and manage competing priorities.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Efficient, effective and well organized.

  • Customer service oriented.

  • Able to work effectively within all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 years of Legal Operations specific experience

  • 4 year degree

  • 2 years of Change Management experience and 5 years of finance/accounting experience prior.

  • Change Management Certificate

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $84,000 - $160,000. 

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
