Learning & Development Specialist, Digital Physiology Project Management

What you’ll be doing

Design and deliver learning experiences that prepare Clario employees to be successful in Project and Data Management roles.

• Act as a subject matter expert for Cardiac and Respiratory product line.

• Training Audience: Internal.

• Training Modality: In-person AND Virtual.

• Approx 60% time to be invested in training delivery (in-person or virtually) and 40% in designing & developing training content and/or updating existing training content.

Complete activities required for preparation, delivery, sustenance and application of training including (but not limited to):

• Design, develop and deliver instructor-led and web-based functional and soft skills training from prepared training material. 

• Support business leaders, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders from across the organization to provide learning solutions that meet their business objectives.

• Ensure team is properly trained on all new functionality with respect to responsibilities.

• Provide appropriate training for team members in response to quality findings.

• Facilitate cross-training program to expand product line support for team members.

• Consult with stakeholders in project management teams to understand and establish training needs. Create training plans and review those with business leaders to confirm their needs and expectations before implementing the plan.

• Create detailed training plans and provide periodic updates on the implementation status.

• Confirm receipt and secure storage of training supplies and materials at training location. 

• Set up training environment in advance of training delivery. 

• Implement the functional and product training plan in the training environment. 

• Maintain knowledge of the current releases of the products and solutions to be taught. 

• Interact with Project Management and other Clario functional departments to solicit suggestions for improving existing course offerings and assist in developing new offerings. 

• Prepare training report and provide it to management after completion of training engagement including learner surveys and lessons learned from training session.

• Complete all required corporate trainings in a timely manner.

• Provide training for all therapeutic areas per training event. 

• Create customized training content as needed to meet the ongoing business needs including but not limited to PowerPoint presentations, job aids, eLearning and training manuals.

What we look for

• Bachelor's degree in science, education, business or area relevant to the clinical trial industry.

• Professional certifications regarding adult learning preferred.

• Advance degree in related field or equivalent preferred.

• 3+ years delivering IT and/or technical blended training to adult learners in a professional services organization, pharmaceutical/biotech or healthcare industry. 

• 3+ years of experience in the design, development, and implementation of training solutions.

• Knowledge of the Cardiac and/or Respiratory therapeutic areas a plus. 

• Must be familiar with clinical trials and drug development lifecycle as well as GCP and regulatory aspects associated with clinical data. 

• Knowledge of instructional design model such as ADDIE (Analysis Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) would be preferred.

• Strong customer-service orientation.

• Outstanding organization and time-management skills to prioritize tasks and manage timelines.

• Creative and problem-solving skills to invent new ways to accommodate the learning needs and to manage challenges that may occur during training events.

• Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and engage learners.

• Understanding of various training methodologies to deliver the desired learner experience and has willingness to stay updated on the newer tools and methodologies for contemporary learning.

• Strong technical aptitude including the ability to learn new software and tools quickly.

• Ability to provide an engaging presentation to a large audience.

• Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing environments and priorities.
