Job Description
The Learning & Development Manager will lead the execution of AIR's Personal Development, Leadership Development, Mentorship, and Compliance Training programs, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies. This role involves managing a small team of Learning and Development professionals, while also designing and facilitating training, managing program delivery, and ensuring the seamless execution of learning initiatives.
Where You Will Work
Our corporate office is located in the Denver Tech Center. Our office spans the top two floors of the building and features expansive views of the mountains and the downtown skyline.
AIR values relationships and the benefits from working side by side with teammates, therefore this position will be in-office 5 days a week to support the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of Learning & Development professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their success.
  • Program Execution: Oversee the implementation of organizational learning strategies by managing the design, scheduling, logistics, and delivery of training programs (in-person, virtual, and self-paced).
  • Facilitate Training: Act as a key facilitator, delivering engaging and impactful training sessions for employees at all levels, with a focus on leadership and professional development.
  • Instructional Design: Curate, design and maintain instructional materials, including eLearning modules, workshop content, and multimedia resources.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with senior leaders and other stakeholders to ensure that learning programs meet the needs of the organization and align with its goals.
  • Program Management: Take ownership of year-round learning programs, including mentorship, onboarding, compliance, and leadership development initiatives, ensuring they are executed effectively and continuously improved.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Monitor program outcomes, define success metrics, and provide reports to leadership on the effectiveness and impact of learning initiatives.

Qualifications
What You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Adult or Continuing Education, Organizational Development, Human Resource Development, Instructional Design, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, including designing and facilitating training programs.
  • Team Leadership Experience: Prior experience managing and developing direct reports or cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience facilitating training sessions for manager-level audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple programs and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in instructional design tools and familiarity with video editing and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Suite, Canva, Camtasia).
  • Demonstrated executive presence and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with developing metrics and analytics to evaluate the impact of learning programs.
  • Ability to act as both a leader and individual contributor, seamlessly shifting between strategic oversight and hands-on tasks.
  • Adaptability and willingness to travel up to 25%.


Work Environment:
This position operates in a professional office environment with periodic travel to support in-person training sessions as required. Responsibilities may require the ability to:

  • Lift and carry training materials, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Perform physical activities such as bending, stretching, and reaching during training setup or facilitation.
  • Stand for extended periods while conducting training sessions or engaging with participants.


Additional Information
What We Offer
AIR offers attractive total compensation packages designed to recognize and reward performance including:

  • Expected pay range of $105,000 - $120,000 base salary plus 15% annual target bonus. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
