Let’s start with the role:
The Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing learning programs tailored to the Brazilian market while aligning with global strategies set by the Headquarters. This role will prioritize leadership development for both current and future leaders, ensuring alignment with performance review processes, promoting organizational culture, and driving diversity and inclusion initiatives. The ideal candidate will partner with key stakeholders to identify training needs, deliver impactful programs, and contribute to a cohesive and engaging employee experience.
As a Learning & Development Specialist you will:
Leadership Development
- Design and implement leadership development programs to cultivate a pipeline of future-ready leaders;
- Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and create customized development plans;
- Collaborate with local and global teams to deliver impactful leadership training aligned with organizational objectives
- Provide coaching and guidance to enhance leadership capabilities across all levels of the organisation.
Performance Review Process
- Ensure the successful execution of the company’s performance review cycles, including timelines, communication, and process facilitation;
- Train leaders on conducting effective performance reviews and providing actionable feedback;
- Support leaders in creating Individual Development Plans (IDPs) that align with organizational and employee goals.
Performance Management
- Align performance management practices with global frameworks while addressing local needs;
- Provide guidance to managers to ensure alignment between individual and organizational objectives;
- Support calibration sessions to promote consistency and fairness in performance evaluations.
Learning Program Design and Delivery
- Develop and deliver learning solutions tailored to local business needs while incorporating global initiatives;
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using established metrics and feedback loops;
- Lead digital learning transformation efforts, integrating tools and platforms to enhance accessibility and engagement.
Culture and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
- Drive cultural initiatives to strengthen employee engagement and foster an inclusive workplace;
- Support the implementation of DEI programs, including awareness training and leadership engagement;
- Collaborate with global and local teams to promote and execute DEI strategies in the Brazilian context.
What you’ll bring:
- 6–8 years of experience in Learning & Development, Performance Management, or related fields;
- Proven experience in Learning & Development, with a strong focus on leadership development; performance management, and performance review processes;
- Expertise in conducting needs assessments and delivering tailored learning solutions;
- Knowledge of performance review cycles and the ability to train leaders on their implementation;
- Familiarity with global collaboration and the ability to adapt strategies to local markets;
- Experience in driving diversity and inclusion initiatives within an organization;
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills to engage and influence stakeholders;
- Experience with corporate university programs or similar learning platforms;
- Proficiency in digital learning tools and analytics for tracking training effectiveness;
- Strong project management skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
